Amy & Robb | Intimate Back Yard Wedding in Chapel Hill

When you're planning your wedding from the opposite coast, you have to be both judicious and intentional in what you prioritize, where you put your planning energy. Fortunately, for Amy & Robb, this was easy: they knew they wanted to focus on celebrating with their closest family and friends with excellent food and drink, and get married in with the mix. As a Duke alum, Robb has some close ties to the Triangle area, and the couple's best friends frequently host events at their gorgeous Chapel Hill home, making it an optimal location.

Though a sheet of clouds threatened rain throughout the afternoon, it held off until all the guests were comfortably ensconced under the elegant clear-top tent for dinner——the timing didn't prevent Amy's best friend and maid of honor Vicky from enjoying a dance in the rain, though! It was a relaxed and beautiful day, and we're so glad to have been a part of it. Amy & Robb, thank you for trusting us to capture this day for you——all our best wishes for a long and blissfully happy marriage!
