RedBird Events Turned Two!

It has now been several months since our good buddy Gretchen’s fantastic wedding planning business, RedBird Events, turned two years old! In addition to her fabulous, efficient, and well connected self, Gretchen has assembled an amazing team of coordinators, and the events they plan are as beautifully executed as they are just plain beautiful. (For proof, just take a look at Jeanine & Leslie’s wedding celebration at Motorco, and Melissa & Teddy’s Homestead Steakhouse wedding.)

Photographing Gretchen in her adorable Raleigh office was somewhat self-serving—I had some new lenses I wanted to play with, and Gretchen agreed to be my test subject! It worked out for everyone, though, because we got to hang out and chat weddings a bit while eating some delicious and adorable RedBird-themed cake. For that, I have to give an especial shout-out to Edible Art, who whipped up a custom cake for Gretchen, complete with her logo and a little chocolate “2,” on less than 24 hours’ notice—you guys rock!

And Gretchen totally rocks, too. If you’re planning a wedding (or other event, but weddings are her specialty!) in the Triangle, you will not find a better planner than RedBird Events. Enjoy the images!
