Mina & Jay | Duke Gardens Engagement

Mina & Jay are two of the sweetest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. They kept me laughing during their entire session--not only were they a dream to pose, completely focused on being sweet and romantic, just in the moment together, but they also had a ton of fun, joking and goofing around together, which in turn meant that I got to have fun the whole time, as well!
We were originally scheduled to have their engagement session in April, but the cherry blossoms at Duke Gardens bloomed a little early, and we moved up to mid-March. Easy enough, but Mina & Jay, sweet souls that they are, brought me flowers as a thank you for the last-minute accommodation--they chose the tulips you see in some of these shots because they found out through social media that tulips are my favorite flowers! (Super true: I now have a tattoo that incorporates tulips!)
Their session is easily among my favorites, and I have no doubt that their wedding day coming up in September is going to be even more delightful, even prettier, and--if it's possible!--even sweeter.
