Babies are kind of at their best at six months old. They can smile and interact with you, but they can't move enough to get into any real kind of trouble yet, they're readily portable, and they're chubby and squishy and adorable. Needless to say, I was thrilled to meet six-month-old Lucas! It helps that I know and love his parents—we go back years now, from engagement to wedding and bridal and maternity!—and it helps that he's completely stinkin' adorable. We documented his six-month milestone at this sweet family's home in Raleigh, and I can't wait for the next opportunity to photograph all this cuteness.
