Alex & Jason | A Downtown Raleigh Engagement with Beers and Bridges

Okay, maybe just one bridge. Boylan Bridge, to be specific. And drinks at Boylan Bridge Brewpub. I don't know if it's the best view of Raleigh's skyline, but it's definitely my favorite. When Alex said that she and Jason wanted a more eclectic, chilled out, urban vibe for their engagement session, I knew we had to head to Boylan Bridge. Added bonus?: Jason is a big fan of craft beer, so he got to sample a couple of the Brewpub's offerings as both a reprieve from and a reward for our session! We had a beautiful afternoon in November for these two recent Midwest-transplants' engagement session, and they have such a great interplay that they made my job easy. They grew up just minutes from each other in Illinois and weren't even officially dating when Alex relocated down to the Triangle in 2014. It was a light bulb moment for Jason, though--he knew he couldn't live without Alex and followed soon after her. The Oak City is lucky to have these two fun and sweet people, and I loved documenting their engagement session. Wishing Alex and Jason a lifetime of fun and happiness (and beer, duh), and the best of luck as they continue planning their wedding from afar!
