Itallo & Ramsey | Proposal Photography at Pullen Park in Raleigh

Proposals are nerve-wracking to begin with: do they notice the ring box? am I acting normal? are they suspicious? Add in knowing that you're being secretly photographed, and the stakes go a little higher, if it's possible to conceive much higher stakes for a Thursday afternoon than asking your love to marry you.

But ask Itallo did, and Ramsey said yes! He proposed at Pullen Park on a gorgeous, temperate February day, the last of the sunlight making the two of them glow even brighter than their joy did on its own. A group of onlookers across the pond applauded and shouted, "Congratulations!" as Itallo was placing the ring--a gorgeous round brilliant solitaire set in yellow gold--on Ramsey's finger, and she gave them a very dignified, if slightly stunned, wave.

We took a few portraits around the park before they headed out to a dinner reservation, and Ramsey couldn't help but sneak admiring peeks at her new bling throughout the time we spent together. (I can't blame her: I've been wearing my engagement ring for almost 14 years and I still love catching glimpses of its sparkle!) These two are super sweet together, and I'm thrilled to have been able to capture this important moment for them.
