Jessi & Ian's Energetic & Fun Travel Wedding at the Museum of Life & Science in Durham
Wedding: 1 April 2017 | Posted: 29 June 2017

It's easy to predict a wedding will be fun when the couple ends their engagement session by jumping in the air making crazy faces. And Jessi and Ian are nothing if not fun. Their choice of the Museum of Life & Science as their venue is a first good clue: if you visit during museum hours, you can climb treehouses, make paper airplanes, build simple machines, create origami, and see some really fun animals (like red wolf puppies!). Though many exhibits are closed during events, it's still a colorful, eclectic place that suits an energetic couple who don't take life too seriously, like Jessi & Ian.
We had so much fun photographing and participating in this wedding. Chasing a golf cart around the grounds. Climbing on trees and in treehouses. Running from dinosaurs. Groom karaoke to The Police. Ties on heads. For Ian, a UNC basketball win (conference finals, maybe?). Ripped pants. Cupcake towers. And an awesome dance party. We could not be happier for Jessi & Ian, and wish them every joy in life! Enjoy their images below, and congratulate them in the comments!
