Hillary & Andrew | Downtown Raleigh Engagement Photography

One of the things I often say I love about weddings is getting to be a part of our clients' families, however briefly, to love on and support them on an enormously important day in their lives. Hillary & Andrew are a shining example of the rare cases when our relationships get to transcend just one couple's wedding day: we photographed Hillary's sister Elizabeth's engagement and wedding back in 2015, and have been privileged to spend some time with their family since then. We were so excited when Hillary and Andrew got engaged and decided to book their wedding with us, not the least because Hillary & Andrew are two delightful and fun people in their own right, but for more time with the Jamieson family!
Andrew made the move to Raleigh from Western NC about a week before our session, so we decided to commemorate the occasion on which he and Hillary were finally back in the same city (yay!) by visiting some very Raleigh spots--Morning Times, Marbles Kids Museum, Pullen Park--for their session. We caught some blooming trees at the park and some gorgeous color on Lisa Gaither's Marbles mural, but nothing was brighter or sweeter than all the smiles and laughter Hillary & Andrew had for each other.
