Alex & Derek have a crazy story, my favorite kind. I love when couples' tales meander all over the country (or the world), through a lot of time, through seemingly parallel realities, or just make you go, "Hold up, for real?" Alex & Derek's is more the latter: They met online (not unusual), hit it off, Derek came to visit North Carolina for a week, they both thought, "Yep, this is it, this is my person," and a month later, Derek had moved here. And they could not have been any sweeter—snuggled up in the cool morning air, loved and loving. We can't wait to photograph their wedding at the end of April!
