Callie | Raleigh Rose Garden Bridal Portraits

August is hot; did you know? And the weather can be unpredictable. For Callie's bridal portrait session, we were looking at about a 50% chance of scattered storms—in other words, anything could happen. Callie is a champ and decided to tough it out rather than rescheduling, and even though it poured for about five minutes right as we were ready to set up our first pose, I'm so glad we stuck with our original session time: the evenness of the light sieved through the overcast sky made Callie's skin glow and brought out the subtle blush color in her dress. And we even ended up with some super cute umbrella shots in the midst of some light, late-game drizzle! And check out those final jump shots—I love working with dancers! (Worth noting: as soon as Callie got inside the theater to change, All the Rain happened. Perfect timing.)
